Recently visited Bournemouth and called in the Hop Inn for a meal after a long day travelling. It's well situated for the amenities nearby, the food is good old fashioned pub menu, much of which is claimed to be home cooked, and was served promptly. Portions were generous, the food was tasty and filling and all very reasonably priced. Also,...

Down in Bournemouth for a conference the Hop Inn is a great place to visit for a beer and some food. The sports coverage is excellent and the drinks are not over priced like a lot of places down here. Perhaps it could do with a bit of a spruce up especially the toilets but don't let that put you...

Stayed here as part of a stag do with members of the party from various parts of the U.K. Firstly we had no choice in the accommodation given as we booked through an activities company. When we first arrived the rooms were not accessible due to the lead of the party not being there to pay a large deposit (£500)....

The food resembled what can only be described as war rations, the quality of the steak resembled a flip flop that had walked on hot coals....be careful not to ask for sauce, it's like you asked to buy...

Great pub with lovely contemporary furnishings, loads of screens to watch the rugby. Food looked great although we didn't eat. Special thanks to Shannon who brought drinks to our table, nice touch. We will be back if in Bournemouth.

Never mind I had stake n chips my wife had lasagna. Both big portions. Tea was help yourself. Good service and friendly staff. Definitely...
