This hotel is run by a lovely couple. Very welcoming. Nice rooms. Clean. Delicious breakfast. We had prossecco, chocolates and flowers left in our room which was a lovely touch. We were there to view a wedding venue in Devon. They were very helpful about where to go in the area. Overall a perfect stay. Would highly recommend.

Very friendly hotel in a good location, close to beach and Torquay town centre. Clean and comfortable hotel. Fantastic breakfast with good portions and fresh ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would book again. Torquay is a pretty seaside town, with lots to see and do!

Stayed here for a weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary, we got a good deal over the phone and a complimentary bottle of wine. The hotel is exceptionally clean everywhere and I Agree wholeheartedly with the positive reviews of the owners, they are friendly and helpful. Parking is good and the walk into town through the Abbey is very pleasant,...

This was our second visit to the Abbeyfield and as we remembered Jeff and Sandra were perfect hosts. The hotel is always spotlessly clean and the breakfasts superb! It is ideally situated. Parking readily available but should you decide to leave the car the centre of Torquay is easily accessible on foot.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The warm welcome you received when you arrive and the comfortable accommodation and well appointed suites make this B&B superior to many 4 and 5 star hotels anywhere! Breakfast was excellent in terms of quality and quantity (it more than passed my coffee and eggs test which I apply to all hotels we...

My Cousin and I recently stayed at the Abbeyfields Hotel and found Jeff and Sandra so very friendly, they have a spotlessly clean hotel, excellent breakfast and efficiently served. There is car parking and the area is very quiet. A short very pleasant walk through Torr Abbey grounds takes you down to the front and various eating places. Jeff made...

Amazing, very helpful and caring owners. Because of them, it was much easier to plan our stay. You can feel the family atmosphere. The location is very good - within a short walking distance from rail station, beach and town centre. The whole place is extremely clean and tidy!!! Rooms are beautiful and cozy, with everything that should be in...
