I am aware that some guests had valid complaints whilst I was there, but we were in a refurbished room which was on level 2. Only criticism of room is lack of storage space and full length mirror (plenty of room for these). General areas...More

Unfortunately as you will see from other reviews, and our responses to reviews, we are a big hotel with 142 bedrooms spread over two buildings, there are a lot of steps and stairs around the building, and the hotel is on a slope, which leads down to the seafront, about 300m away in total from the Reveption. We are not ideally suited to disabled guests and whilst we do have a lift in the North Wing, and around about half our rooms with lift access or with a few steps, the South Wing does not have a lift. It sounds like one of our refurbished rooms, with large showers would be most suitable, which are an additional £10 per room per night, you need to contact us direct to book one of these rooms as they are very much in demand. I hope this helps with your decision as to whether to book at the hotel.
All rooms have TV’s but some rooms have small 16-22 inch TV’s. We are halfway through upgrading all rooms to 32 inch or larger TV’s, 60 rooms done, 20 more over the next two weeks and hope to complete the rest by the end of... More
All rooms have TV’s but some rooms have small 16-22 inch TV’s. We are halfway through upgrading all rooms to 32 inch or larger TV’s, 60 rooms done, 20 more over the next two weeks and hope to complete the rest by the end of May. All part of the general upgrade of the rooms including a change to duvets in all rooms and installation of USB sockets which will be followed by hotel wide complimentary WiFi, which is presently only in the public areas.
