Very helpful owner who i had to get out of bed at 2am to let us in but he did so without question and was happy to do so. Lovely hotel considering the price. Highly recommend this hotel ! Much better than the 4 star hotel (The Grand) down the road from it

The rooms here are very Barry basic. The thing that shocked me the most was the black mound all over the walls and ceiling and together with the ceiling in the bathroom starting to come down it didn't make for a pleasant shower! On the plus the staff were very good :)

Stayed here for 3 days for a quick break after a promise of good weather. Well the weather was ok. This hotel looks the part from the outside and to be fair the inside is ok downstairs, unfortunately we were on the first floor. I have never come across a place with so many creaks, the stairs creaked, the floorboards,even...

Booked this hotel as it was the best price we could find for a weekend break in Torquay. At £90 for two nights, I didn't expect too much. Arrived at the hotel to very limited parking on a steep hill however found a space. After checking in with a rather gruff member of staff, we went to the room. Unfortunately...

Hotel was mediocre at best. Stayed with a friend in twin room. One of the beds had very poor mattress which you could feel the springs through. One bed was right in front of the bathroom door. The bathroom door had no lock and didn't even shut satisfactorily. There was hardly any space to get passed the bed to the...

We stayed here for four nights. The car park is on a first come basis. The hotel is being redecorate, so first impressions were good. Our room was on the top floor no 33. It was large with two Windows that looked out onto the sea. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel is quite a way out from Torquay...

Location, set on a very busy road. Cramped sloping car park. First impression was not too bad, but it is a two star, but the bedroom was shabby, the bed was lumpy, the shower had black mould in it. Breakfast was extra and cost £6. The owner was a bit brisk and unfriendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room very basic bed squeaking every time you moved. Fairly clean but needs updating and coat of paint , electric plugs 7ft off the floor and defunct aerial sockets. Parking is a problem more rooms than spaces. And breakfast is a £6 / head added extra.
