THE Burlington dies have a sister hotel in Torquay Ashley Court you could look at their reviews to see if they're any better.
Good luck x

Unfortunately yes I was there 3rd -10july this year if your lucky you will have a shower in your room which could be attached to the taps . Bed linen clean but rooms were not cleaned every day beds made up and bucket emptied daily I would take cleaning materials with you just in case. we were out all day which helped only saving grace staff friendly food good entertainment nightly there. Hotel is a disgrace and if you have the chance would go elsewhere .
