Stayed for one night at the weekend. The room was clean, the bed comfy enough and the shower was good but a very small cubicle so difficult to keep the water in the tray. Service very quick at breakfast suggesting that the food was pre-cooked and kept warm. The tea was definitely better than the coffee. Staff were friendly. Was...

Just returned from 5 day David Urquart coach tour to this hotel. After reading reviews we weren't optimistic - in fact dread comes to mind. However we had a great holiday and after requesting a room with a shower on arrival when we were given a room with a bath only, the girl on reception went out of her way...

We had a 4 day break with National Holidays. Ok the place is not the Ritz but we didn't pay Ritz prices. We were very satisfied with our stay. A very helpful chap carried out suitcase up to our room for starters. The room was dated but we didn't mind that a bit. It was very clean and that is...

I dont want to reinvent the wheel so will only say take note of the 1 star reviews for this place, they are spot. Will add though that the weather was turning cold when we were there and there was a total refusal by the manager to put any form of heating on.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years but Have never stayed in one as bad as the Burlington. We new the hotel was going to be basic but did not expect it to be so dirty and shabby. Our double room was tiny with hardly any room to move around the bed, the bed was so...

It's not as bad as some have made it out to be, I booked 3 single rooms for a overnight stay with friends, yes hotel was a little dated and could use a good Spring clean, but... It was £28 each inc breakfast (which wasnt too bad) we had fresh clean bedding and towels, the rooms weren't massive but we...

David Urquart tour...no wonder they didn't say what hotel we would be staying in at time of booking! this place should carry a health warning from the moment you enter whilst not expecting a palace we were shocked at what we saw our room had a small double bed with a mattress so worn that you could see and feel...
