Stayed in Junior suite. Bed was very hard and could actually feel the Springs. Windows are very draughty and would open and close cupboard in the Bathroom. Breakfast was okay apart from the Full English which was pretty poor with very cheap sausage and under-cooked egg. Had to

Thank you for your review of the hotel. I am very sorry to see that you didn't find your mattress comfortable. We do keep additional items, such as additional mattress toppers, at the hotel for guest use should you require them. I have passed your comments to the Food and Beverage team for consideration regarding your restaurant experiences. We have just started a large project of renovations to update areas of the hotel. I hope you join us again and can see the improvements in the coming months.

Amazing Hotel - views brilliant - venue super - staff so helpful - breakfast - so much choice and huge servings - 10 minutes walk - straight walk into Torquay - the only thing that I would feel was a negative was the price of the drinks - in the bar - ouchhhhhhhhhhhhhh £20.00

We stayed here last night for a leisurely evening away. From our visit, I would say this stay was average at best. We arrived a little early so we could have some lunch before checking in or start to make use of the facilities. The receptionist was very polite and told us we

Thank you for your review of the hotel. I'm sorry that you experienced some miscommunication regarding the bar opening. Lunch is available from 12-4pm, cakes and coffee are available from 10am. Thank you for your comments regarding your room. The inland rooms and corridors have just started their renovation process ready for the summer. I hope you come to visit us again to try out our new and improved rooms.

On initial arrival of this hotel, it can also be compared to a resort rather than a small time hotel. The outside resembles regal and has a Kensington look to it. It is landscaped and detailed immaculately outside. It faces Tor Bay which is a stunning view in front of your

There are plenty of bars, cocktail lounges and pubs nearby. We are a 5 minute taxi or 15 minute walk into town, and along a beautiful coastal route where you will find plenty of places to try.

do all the rooms have showers are there any rooms for disabled ?
Joyce, you would need to ask the hotel regarding room for disabled with shower. I guess you would mean walk-in showers? Certainly, our room had a shower above the bath. Furthermore, there was an approximately 30mm 'step' between the room and the en-suite with black/yellow warning tape on the step. Not good I think for those with sight loss or old men like me who frequently go to the bathroom in the night and may have forgotten about the 'step'.

Sorry but you probably won't get an answer from the hotel. I filled in their comment leaflet and they didn't have the decency to reply after I gave them feed back. I felt the hotel facilities were tired.

Yes, children can stay. I'm sure they are open all year round.
