My wife and I went here for a Travelstyle five day cheap stay in mARCH. 2013. The hotel had only be reopened a few weeks after being closed last season due to family circumstances. Now run by Jo and Neale and a very small team serving the 26 bedrooms and around 40 guests. First floor room have central heating whilst...

We stayed for four nights, five days with Travelwise at this hotel. Although the owner was struggling with small children she did her best with the small budget allowed by the travel company. She did provide good, well cooked food. There was little choice but what can you expect given the circumstances. It was disappointing and difficult to have to...

First of all this is not an Hotel, its a large B&B. Not that there is anything wrong with that in itself. The decor is very dated and shabby. There is no central heating only electric heaters in the rooms. The rooms are clean however. We stayed for 4 nights. Breakfast was OK but evening meals were very poor unless...

My wife and I stayed on a 4 day coach trip for our wedding anniversary and were very happy with all aspects of the hotel, including the lovely food. The bar was also comfortable and...

Not having been on a Caoch Holiday previously, we embarked upon this one with some trepidation, at a time in in early February when we really needed a break! Have travelled widely in the UK and abroad and not always found such value and pleasure in a Holiday. Though coldish throughout in the area, it was always bright - and...

Just got back from a restful stay in the Ashley rise hotel,we booked a four day stay with a well known tour operator. On arriving at the hotel we were a bit apprehensive because it looks a bit dated on first impressions. But our room was very clean maybe on the small side but quite adequate for our needs. All the normal items...

Stayed 27th February to 2nd March. Very good value for money. Don't expect 5* accommodation at 2* price. Dinner at 6-30 is too early for us and food-wise there isn't a great selection, but that's how the cost is kept down. If you want somewhere cheap, cheerful and clean go for it.
