Sadly we had to leave a day early due to my granddaughter being poorly. But Pauline couldn't have been more caring and understanding. Our room was very clean, with comfortable beds. The breakfast was very tasty. Oh I nearly forgot, tea and cake on arrival was a much needed treat after a rubbish car journey. We will return.

We stayed at Acorn Lodge for 3 days and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and the balcony was an added bonus. The breakfasts were very good and our hosts were helpful and informative. A very enjoyable location and excellent value for money.

had 2 night stay and couldn't fault accommodation or breakfast. great service from the owner and was very accommodating ensuring my young child's needs were catered for. Cleanliness was outstanding, would highly recommend to anyone. The owner knew the area well and was able to advise on local attractions and places to visit.

Lovely B and B in Torquay, about 10 minute walk to seafront. Pauline was a great host and very informative, Pat cooked a yummy breakfast and there was plenty of it! Room was brilliant as there are not many places where they will accommodate larger families, so it was wonderful to find somewhere that would take the 5 of us...

Arrived with 3 tired out children. We were welcomed by Pauline, who showed us to our room and then bought us all a drink and some homemade cakes. Beds were comfortable - and although 5 of us in 1 room, we did not feel cramped. Breakfast was of good quality and plenty of it. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived at the B&B and checking in was a breeze. Pauline even welcomed us with a pot of hot tea and cakes which we were very appreciative of as it was cold (about 12 deg C). The room was neat and clean. We walked down to the harbour and had dinner at a fish and chips "Rockfish Restaurant" which...
