Nice hotel, it is definirely a Victorian hotel and would have been very sofisticated 20 years ago. Maintained to a good standard, amazing location and convenience to Torquay. Highly recommend for the views of Torquay, close walking proximity to town, good facilities. But the parking is atrociously priced. £7 a night for open parking and £15 a night for undercover,...

Stayed here for two nights earlier in the month to be able to attend a funeral. The hotel is comfortable in an old fashioned way, and the service professional. Only had dinner on one of the evenings but the menu outside the dining room was confusing. The set menu was £25 but there were no puddings shown, so it appeared...

I have stayed at theirs hotel several times over the course of the last 15 years and can honestly say that it has not had any updates in decor in this time. The rooms are outdated and look tired, the room I was put in this time (a supposed upgrade) was room 10 where the carpets do not reach any...

Love this hotel. Have been coming here for the last twenty years, even though the hotel has changed hands many times. Parts of the hotel could do with a bit of upgrading, but the overall ambience is old world luxury. The views from the sea facing rooms are amazing and the restaurant is beautiful. The indoor and outdoor pools are...

I highly recommend a stay at the Imperial hotel. Booking a short break with extra's was lovely - 3 course dinner on first night was superb and the afternoon tea on the 2nd day was ideal. The views are spectacular and the location for seeing Torquay and what it has to offer is perfect. Very nice staff in all areas...

Booked a very expensive spa day here for my wifes birthday. When she received the vouchers she spent an entire day trying to phone both on the main number and the spa number. It just rang and rang and rang. Nobody could be bothered to answer. Eventually in the evening reception answered. They were unable to put my wife through...
