I agree with unseatedtonys review wholeheartedly. The food was very good, the service exceptional but the room (especially bathroom/toilet/shower) was the smallest I have ever been in. (room 15). Entertainment was acceptable.

Coach break...having stated Not wanting a top floor..we were given room 26 which we couldn't swing a cat round...the room overlooked a yard which didn't improve our view on our 1st impression...saying that food and entertainment was great..unlike the hot water in the afternoon...non existant.....More

Just spent a four night break at The De La Mer with a booking by a local coach tour operator. The hotel is staffed by the most willing team you could ask for. Nothing too much trouble for them at meal times - no sooner...More

My husband and I have just returned from Babbacombe with Greenline staying at Del a Mare. The food staff an everything else was excellent compliments to the chef only downside was the rooms are small and the one we were in No 10 was not...More
You choose your evening meal at breakfast time but on our first day when we arrived late there was no choice - Main meal was just served!
No complaints about the quality or the food though, quite plain but adequate.
