Lovely position on the Babacombe Downs. Cheap but owner not very cheerful! Rooms old fashioned and basic. Plumbing left alot to be desired. Furniture falling apart. Breakfast ok. Not the cleanest place we've stayed in but not the worst!

Stayed here for the second time, thought we would give this place a second chance. Here goes. My partner viewed a room that appeared better than before, was shown a room that apparently had been decorated but was just waiting for the shower to be fitted. He booked it in late September, for arrival on October 15th. He called the... More

Great value hotel in Babbacombe, the hotel has undergone some major changes and by summer time I expect the hotel to be very busy due to its great views spacious rooms and value for money. I would definitely stay here again as its handy for bus routes to all local attractions and town centre

Positive points were breakfast and the views. The room and rest of hotel that I saw were run down and in need of a total refit as so dated and grubby, the room had several huge spiders webs including spiders and needed a proper clean of walls windows lino etc this was the neglect from many months not a one... The room was nice but it needed a good clean. The hotel in general needs a lift just a bit tired looking. Furniture and air vents are dusty, Windows and frames very dirty. Would stay again only next time i'll take cleaning products. The view is its only saving grace.

Not impressed having to do wash you're own bedding the owner not very chatty. The bathroom lacks in Cleanliness on certain fittings breakfasts average, table clothes had staining on it which we weren't impressed. Though the view where we are is fantastic.

The hotel is in a wonderful location with access to shops, public transport and the local theatre. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Thank you for... More
