The Cary Arms does have a wonderful location and we had a lovely room with beautiful views. We felt however that the staff, although friendly were lacking in the skills required to consistently look after us. I was referred to by one of the waiting staff as "my love " several times as were other customers, this member of the...

Brand new, shiny and all round fabulous. TV with access to Netflix, amazon and all sorts of other entertainment, a sonos system, welcome wine and constantly replenished snacks. Awesome views of the sea in all its wildness at February half term. Great restaurant and very helpful, friendly staff. What's not to love!

We booked a two night stay via the Telegraph, we arrived on the Friday and left Sunday, the Hotel is down a very steep road away from the main area of Babbacombe ( which looking at the main road area we were not missing much) The Downs looked really nice. Our room was lovely but I thought it was a...

We stayed recently in the Vice Admiral room with our young baby and were very impressed. The room had a stunning view across the bay, it was lovely waking to the sound of the sea. It was our first trip away with our baby and everyone made us feel relaxed and welcome. Food good, especially the breakfast with carefully sourced...

Staff, food, room & location great. Food perfect. Particularly pleased with the new spa facilities and how helpful the therapist was. This was our 3rd visit and the best yet. It is so nice to stay at a hotel where the staff have the time to provide such good service.

Small unloading area in front of the entrance but not used for parking . Hotel give you a pass for the duration of...

Spent a pleasant 3 nights at the Cary Arms "Inn on the beach" -it certainly was almost on the beech and our bedroom had lovely views over the sea - but we paid for it! This place is not cheap and is more a pub with rooms - residents lounge was nice with sea views, bedroom was a decent size...

Many thanks for your honest review and I am sorry if we let you down with the menu choices. I understand your point that on the website it mentions Lyme Bay lobster and a pint of prawns but these are very seasonal items. At this time of year it is very difficult to source these items and if we were...
