Rooms were spotless with everything you could need, fridge, tea & coffee, iron, tv,radio alarm, shampoo & shower gel, bath robe. The breakfast was fantastic with a great choice. The location was on a lovely quiet street but only 7/8 min walk to the harbour area. The owners were lovely...

Having read the great comments about The Walnut Lodge, I thought that it would be the best place for my Mother and myself to stay and we certainly weren't disappointed, from the very warm welcome to check out everything was perfect, the breakfast was fantastic and all FRESHLY prepared (not using tinned mushrooms, tasteless black pudding or bland sausages, as...

My husband and I stayed at The Walnut Lodge for 2 nights, en route to Cornwall. As soon as we walked through the door we received a warm welcome. I had slight reservations about our room as I'm a light sleeper and we were on the ground floor, so thought there would be noise coming from above and next door...

This B & B is extremely clean. Rooms are tastefully furnished and offer every facility you need - Hospitality Tray, hairdryer, TV, Ironing board and even a fridge! Linda is a lovely hostess and could not have been more helpful with everything we asked for. The room was spotlessly clean and breakfast offered a good variety with generous portions and...

A real find! A very comfortable stay which offered all amenities that are important to us - spotlessly clean, a modern bathroom with a great shower, good quality furnishings all topped off with a decent breakfast. We were made to feel very welcome. The owners should diversify and offer courses to other establishments on how to run a B&B!
