I stayed three nights at this small, family-run hotel in peak season (August) The management were friendly and helpful and secured me a single room at very short notice. It was clean and mostly quiet except for one night when there was a drunken couple rowing outside the hotel, this woke me and several other guests although others were unaffected...

We got a very warm and friendly welcome, The hotel was lovely and clean. Room was great clean and tidy , Large double bed very comfy. Quiet location but very near railway station. About 25 minuet walk at a steady pace to sea front and town center, All the staff where very friendly and pleased to help. Breakfast was buffet...

Stayed over a long weekend. Lovely hotel, gorgeous breakfasts. Superb value for money, friendly hosts. Just a short walk from station and not much further to the sandy beach and town centre. Would fully recommend a stay here.

Hotel is in a good location, set just behind the railway station. Quiet & restful stay. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool. The breakfast was superb. Owner & staff lovely. We shall certainly be going to the hotel again.

Delightful little hotel at the Grand Hotel end of Torquay. Just a stones throw away from the train station. We were greeted by a very jolly proprietar to a warm and friendly independent hotel. Immaculately clean. Newly refurbished bathroom and toilets. Fantastic view of the bay from our window (top floor) The hotel doesn't have a lift or ground floor...

nice, clean small friendly hotel, staff and owner very friendly, the rooms are larger than most and very clean the grounds are well kept the outdoor swimming pool is about the right size for the hotel and is also heated, the hotel just the right distance from the main town of Torquay (walking distance)

Found this hotel online and was impressed by the reasonable cost as we were looking for somewhere at very short notice. What a holiday! We visited here on a Monday to Friday family break. My husband and I, our twelve year old daughter and my 89 year old partially sighted father (Grandpa Geordie) in 2 rooms. Room 9 was at the back of the hotel (twin) and room 16 was a front facing bay windowed room (four poster) both with en-suite...
