This hotel was a superb find and is now our favourite hotel. We have just made our fifth visit in slightly over 2 years. Debbie and Nigel are such wonderful hosts making everyone so welcome, going out of their way to make their guests stay really enjoyable. Their motto 'come as strangers leave as friends' is certainly accurate. The hotel... More

Hi Paul, Kay and Sarah, it's always a pleasure to see you all. So pleased that you still enjoy coming back time after time! If anyone ever contacts me for disabled guests I always suggest a different area, Lynton is not the place to push wheel chairs around. Shops cafes etc are hard to enter too?!! Exmoor is beautiful but... More

Firstly and foremost our hosts Debbie and Nigel were brilliant and made us feel at home immediately. Sinai house is beautifully positioned on Sinai hill in Lynton and you can spend all day daydreaming and gazing into the sea - views are just fantastic. But if you are like us you can leave your car there for the whole of... More

A welcoming, warm hotel. The rooms on the top floor are a climb but the view from them is well worth it. The breakfasts are tasty with all options you would want. Being high up the drive up to the car park is quite tricky but OK once you get used to it.

There really isn't a lot I can add to my previous review of this fabulous hill-side guest house, with its amazing views over Lynton toward the tumbling cliffs that fall to the Bristol Channel, and to Wales beyond. Debbie and Nigel couldn't be more welcoming, the rooms couldn't be more comfortable, the breakfasts couldn't be more sumptuous. And the honesty... More

We stayed in room 4. A lovely double with ensuite shower room. Very friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. Delicious freshly cooked to order breakfast. We enjoyed walking to the valley of the rocks, down to Lynmouth and back up the funicular railway. We enjoyed a delicious meal at the Vanilla Pod and also a nearby Thai restaurant,... More

Debbie and Nigel were the best hosts ever! Friendly, helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We only stayed for two nights but wished it was longer. The room was well furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean and well equipped. The dining room and guests' lounge were lovely and had great sea views. We were made to feel extremely welcome as if... More

I had the most amazing weekend stay at sinai house, the owners were very friendly and made me feel right at home. As the sign says 'enter as strangers, leave as friends'. Highly recommended. The cliff railway was very interesting and the views were stunning.

We didn't actually stay in but Nigel and Debbie saved us from getting stranded with a small child by letting us charge our electric car there and only asking for a donation to the Help the Heroes box.
