The Bay Valley of Rocks Hotel located in the picturesque village of Lynton on the North Devon Coast, this early Victorian Hotel retains many aspects of its original charm. There is an impressive atrium in the lounge, where entertainment is provided most evenings. It is located within Exmoor National Park, in the heart of the village of Lynton, overlooking the twinned village of Lynmouth, known as Little Switzerland. The Villages are linked by a masterpiece of early engineering, The Cliff Railway, built in 1890. There are good local amenities and stunning scenic walks only minutes away. All rooms in the hotel are en suite with many enjoying scenic views of the Bristol Channel to Wales. The Valley of Rocks is the ideal location for walkers or those who simply wish to explore the natural beauty of the surrounding areas.

My friend and I enjoyed a 4 night Turkey & Tinsel break 26-30/11/18 and thought the hotel had been very tastefully refurbished in the communal rooms. The food was very good (ignore the rude comments made by someone; maybe that lady is used to dining in Royal palaces...sigh). The

We had a two night break here, parked in a car park just down the road but was able to unload the car first, the charge for the car park is £5 per day. The hotel has a small car park that you can book in advance, don't know how much they charge.

There is one lift but it doesn’t go to all floors it’s rather tiny as well there is parking but it’s limited and you have to book in advance it’s six pounds a day there is parking about 200 yards away from the hotel in the village which we used and you purchase the tickets from reception it’s a lovely hotel and the staff are fabulous food is adaquate for what you pay and rooms are basic but immaculate
