Our third visit to Shelleys and have enjoyed every minute. Jane and Richard are wonderful hosts, the hotel is spotlessly clean, the breakfasts delicious. Rooms are large and comfortable. Highly recommended, we look forward to our next visit.

Shelley's is in need of a "face-lift". It is not helped by thin bed room walls, artificial flowers in communal rooms, and dead flowers/shrubs in outside tubs. Breakfast adequate, but not really much choice. TEA SERVED IN A CAFETIERE!!!. No complimentary biscuits on bedroom tea tray, no additional complimentary bathroom toiletries whatsoever - just soap and shower gel in dispensers,...

'Warm welcome, excellent accommodation, clean, roomy and light. Breakfast 1st class, with plenty of choice. Host & hostess couldn't be more accommodating.' A great location for many of the local walks. Easy access to the local pubs and restaurants both in Lynton & Lynmouth and of course an easy stroll to the picture postcard area around the harbour.

We spent time in Lynmouth 35 years ago but Shelly's was not open then. We had an absolutely wonderful two evenings at this lovely hotel and the owners, Jane and Richard were wonderful hosts. The rooms are lovely and quiet and the decor is classically tasteful. Breakfast was served with smiles and attention to detail in a lovely conservatory overlooking...

This Hotel is very clean with a more old fashioned feel to it. We stayed in room 4 and it was great apart from the bed which falls away at the sides, you feel as though you are falling out of bed. I think the mattress needs replacing. No sausages at breakfast, they said they just don't do them!!!!!

We stayed for 4 nights September 2014. We were made wellcome from the moment we arrived. Shelley's is ideally located for a pleasant evening stroll to the harbour. The mornings started off with a fantastic breakfast, well organised and with smiles. If we return to the area we would try here first.

'The location is breath-taking and the view from our room was spectacular. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. The rooms were well decorated and very clean. We stayed for 5 nights and didn't use the car once. There are plenty of lovely walks and the weather couldn't have been better. We would definitely stay again in the future- Richard...

Idealy positioned in Lynmouth, overlooking the seafront, Shellys is a beautiful B and B, with wonderful hosts Richard and Jane. Nicely cooked first rate and varied breakfast menu available. We would not think of staying anywhere else in Lynmouth.

We stayed for three nights August 2014. Can't wait to return. Top marks for all key areas: cleanliness, friendliness, quality of food and service, in an ideal location. We will be very disappointed if Shelly's is fully booked when we are able to return.
