This hotel has it all - great food, very comfortable beds, delightful owners, very handy for the Town centre, lots of hot water and joy of joys, fresh milk for the tea/ coffee in the room. Check out the design of the railings at the back and the front steps!

I've stayed in a few places in Exeter to visit my daughter who is in Uni there. Stayed here for the first time last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. A warm welcome and a cosy and comfy room, well decorated and equipped. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice of either a full English or your choice of items, plus...

Owner & staff very welcoming & informative. Very short walk from city centre. Great period building with well furnished bedroom & nice En suite . Handy off street parking is available which was very useful. Wide choice of options for Breakfast which was good.

Spent one night there on visit to Exeter. I found Raffles to be a great stay. It's a large Victorian end of terrace with lots of stylish nineteenth century cachet, which I like. The room was comfortable, warm and quiet. Breakfast was copious with lots of choice. It's only a short walk from the city centre. I would stay there...

If I sat down to design my perfect B&B it would come out very like this. A big old Victorian house, nicely decorated and with an air of easy comfort. Good breakfast too. The location is good: handy for the centre (few minutes walk) without being in the crowds or too much traffic. Exeter Central station is nearby. Exeter can...

Visiting our daughter attending Exeter University and had a wonderful 9 day stay with Richard (and son) and Jane at Raffles Hotel! Great location, super hosts, comfortable room and lively breakfast conversation made our trip to Devon most enjoyable. We used Exeter as a home base for exploring all of Devon. Will return for sure and can't wait to hear...

Richard and his late wife transformed this well-constructed Duplex into marvelous accommodations. Particularly quiet as he had replaced all of the original windows with triple-glazed ones. Prices are very reasonable. Cash only. Delicious breakfast. Wonderfully friendly housekeeper who manner reminds me of Daphne Moon on Frazier. :)

I wish I could review Raffles Hotel but due to a slight misunderstanding on the telephone about shower rooms being called bathrooms, my experience of the host was one of rudeness so I had no option but to cancel the week that I had booked. Pity, as I generally get on rather well with the staff in the many hotels...
