I wanted to make my parents trip special for their Golden wedding anniversary, as they met in the area. Having contacted the Hotel to book a table for them, we managed to pre-order drinks and get the staff to make their meal very special. I also wanted to pay for the meal as a surprise at the end and everything...

The room was clean and bright, with our room facing the back area of the hotel. So this meant it was also quiet at night. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was en suite but down a short flight of stairs (three) and the area by the tub/shower was cold because of distance from radiator. Shower worked very well, however. We...

We came here for a day of shopping as it was my daughter's birthday and the hotel was within our budget and very local for the main shopping centre. Also, as there is a car park just outside the hotel you can walk into Exeter. We had the five course menu, which was lovely and the young lady who served...

This was our third visit to Queens Court, the aim being to celebrate my birthday with their 6 course taster menu. We were greeted by Ashton, the same receptionist who had been so kind to us on our previous visit, and in the evening our waiter was Ryan, who once again looked after us admirably. The taster menu included wild...

Arrived early but our room was ready. It turned out to be next to a room that was being refurbished but this did not bother us as we did not intend to spend the day in the hotel. Even so the receptionist came to our room as we were enjoying a quick cup of tea and suggested we move to...

We stayed here for two nights and had the taster menu on the first night which was excellent. Each course was full of taste and very well presented. We've sampled quite a few taster menus and this was up there with one of the better ones. Service was also excellent. The down side was the room we were allocated. In...

I'd love to say, here is the great hotel ever which based in city centre near the bus stop. Here is providing a clean, tidy room plus an essential toiletries and very clean towels. Even I missed the breakfast but I still loving to stay here again. Will definitely to book this hotel for my next trip.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Trip Advisor Award of excellence for the past 4 years is testament to the care and quality of this family run hotel in the heart of Exeter. The Queens Court Hotel is a beautiful Georgian town house situated on a leafy square in a city, which dates back to the medieval ages. All rooms are well appointed, all with en-suites. Relax in the bar and lounge or sit outside on the terrace. Visit the jewel in the crown of the Queen's Court, The Olive Tree restaurant. Multi-award winning, dine amongst the Venetian masks and enjoy the produce of the West Country. All the food is freshly prepared and cooked for you, drawing influences from Italy and the Mediterranean. The hotel is only a few minutes' walk from the high street, main train stations and very conveniently placed for the University. It is also fortunate to have a public car park on its doorstep that is free overnight and very reasonably priced in the day. Exeter is positioned in the Heart of Devon making it a great location to experience everything the West Country has to offer. ... more   less
