My rate should have included a full English Breakfast. All we were offered was toast and it came 1 slice with 1 pat of butter & 1 pack of marmalade. We were first into breakfast and what was on offer was not good. No breads on display & just 3 croissants which were part frozen. 3 cereals, yoghurt, and some...

I don't like writing negative things but this was a well deserved break.....arrived to be told the chef was ill so no cooked breakfast only continental...... room basic which I'm fine with but very dirty and run down. So breakfast...... a plate with dried meat and cheese NOTHING else, toast was brought out but barely toasted and the water for...

I booked on line for a one night stay and I am glad it was only one night. There was scaffolding on part of the outside when I arrived. (Parking spaces outside but must be paid for by mobile phone). I went in to check in and was given room 11 and told it was up a flight of stairs...

By far the worst place I have stayed. I booked it as cheap & central for my needs, but left feeling bit depressed. Good points: very close walk from Exeter St Davids Rail Station. Price -lowest in area, Bad Points: Needs refurbishing badly. Not particularly clean. Room dull, depressing, poor lighting. Attention to detail such as lights not work, and...

Didn't actually stay there as the smelly little room was so bad I checked out immediately. Sad that such places still exist. Definitely should be scrapped like her namesake ship! Booked on line (whilst still there) at The Inkeepers Lodge, a few miles away. Perfect! It can be done! Must take more care selecting in future.

Hotel is currently undergoing renovations to the exterior and although the inside decor is in dire need of redecoration there is no excuse for dirty bedrooms, grubby looking bed linen and bathrooms with sink blocked by hair and tiles which needed good scrub with bleach! Ideal location for exploring city centre and bar facilities were good. Breakfast was served in...

I would avoid this place like the plague. It was tired outdated and grubby. Bed was clean but that was about all. But to be honest I would of felt better sleeping in my car. My shower was so mouldy I used my friends shower in her room as thought I may catch something out of mine. This place needs...

I have stayed in some tired hotels in my time but never such a grubby one. Mould on the walls, brown marks on the bathroom tiles, hair in the plughole, bits in the bed. I also made the mistake of pulling out the bedside unit in search of a socket to plug in my phone charger; years worth of dirt...
