We have just had a weekend in Exeter mainly for shopping and to visit the cathedral. We chose St Andrews because it was one of the few hotels within walking distance to the city centre that had free parking. Despite the fact that we arrived late on Friday evening we were given a warm and friendly welcome. The receptionist gave...

Stayed here for 5 nights. Because we arrived on a Sunday afternoon when reception was closed a very helpful email was sent prior to arrival with instructions on obtaining a key to the entrance and our room so that we could make ourselves comfortable and book-in when reception re-opened. We were in room 33 at the rear of the property...

This is the second time I have stayed at the St Andrews Hotel in Exeter. It is a small hotel on the busy Alphington Road and is not far from the City Centre, Quays and the University, although the traffic can be horrendous around the area. The receptionist was welcoming and helpful, providing a map and information about the local area....
