Cozy, friendly,homely on a wet autumn evening. We stayed in the Jarvis room, small but very adequate. Extra nice touches with variety of teas & quality coffee in rooms. Happy helpful staff who actually enjoy having guests! Breakfast was perfect.
Excellent position tucked away in the old town. Ancient building with atmospheric nooks and crannies! Pleasant rooms of varying size. Simple food (tapas, burgers), busy bar and popular for coffee/tea and cakes!

Whilst waking round Dartmouth one evening we popped in for a coffee and scone. The service was good and the scones very nice. The staff seemed very nice and were getting ready for the dinner service, but they still made us feel very welcome.
The Bayards cove is in a great position, has friendly staff, serves a decent breakfast, loves dogs...but could do with a good cleaner. Our bathroom floor was dirty ( to the point of me only going in with my shoes on ), and the hall...More
