We have had another wonderful week in this idyllic part of the country. The lodges are fantastic, for the 2nd time we had lodge15, it is fully equipped with everything you need & sits right beside the lake. The fishing was good for the time of year & we caught everyday, the fish on this lake although not huge are... More

Running a very full on business, a home, dogs and trying to get a social life myself, I want somewhere where everybody is occupied and happy so I can chill out! My husband loves fishing and our labrador is getting old and we want him with us all the time now. Clovelly Lakes has 5 great fishing lakes offering different... More

Stayed here for a few days with some friends and partner.. The lodges were in a nice surrounding area with lakes, lovely little views and the wilderness. Nearby is the village of Clovelly (£7.00 entrance fee), Bideford (sea side town )and Barnstaple ( main city centre). The lodges were cosy, and very equipped with everything you need, I highly recommend... More

Thank you for your review . Sorry the rustic feel was not your taste ,but we would like to point out for future guests arriving in lodge no 2 that the two sofas accent chairs, rugs, pure wool pictures and other smaller items which are all of a high standard are in fact less than a month old. More

This was a May visit. Having visited a good range of similar fishing holiday venues found Clovelly Lakeside Lodges refreshingly different. Being situated lakeside and metres from the waters edge was brilliant. What is unique is the amount of water and that it is only available to residents and no matches are held. Makes for a very tranquil break and... More

Peter and Caroline are always very helpful, no wifi at the moment but your phone will find 3-4G all over the site. We are booked to go again... More
