We enjoyed a relaxing week here in The spring and Church Farm Cottage lived up to all our expectations. Susan was friendly and helpful from the start; the cottage is beautiful and the location perfect for exploring the southern Peak District on foot and on bikes. We can't recommend this accommodation more highly. Simply wonderful!

We stayed in the very beautiful and very comfortable Church Farm Cottage for a week as the start of our honeymoon. It was an amazing week and I deeply hope that this wasn't our last visit - The cottage and the farm with its surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful! You can start your walking tours from the door step and walk...

We stayed at Church Farm Cottage for a friends wedding, the minute you walked inside it felt like a home away from home. There were fresh eggs for breakfast to have with your coffee, and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. In the evening the heating flicked on and you could snuggle up on the comfy sofas.

We've just had an amazing week staying in the Ancestral Barn in this wonderful part of the Peak District. Susan and James were very welcoming and we enjoyed homemade bread, scones and fresh eggs on arrival. The Barn is beautifully presented with a home from home feel and has everything you need and more. We came with my elderly parents...

We have just returned from a long weekend break at Church Farm Cottage, an absolute gem of a place! We were welcomed warmly, shown around the cottage by Susan and left to enjoy freshly baked scones! Freshly baked bread, milk, tea and coffee and fresh eggs had also been left for us, a very nice touch. The cottage is beautifully...

Don't hesitate to book a stay at this cottage. The care and attention to detail is outstanding and the welcome from Susan and James is warm and genuine. The cottage is beautifully clean every surface is polished and the glasses gleam in the cupboard. We had a fantastic stay last week for our son's wedding at a nearby wedding venue...

I have visited Church Farm Cottage on more than one occasion, and although I have visited many countries around the world, it remains my favourite holiday location. From the warm welcome on arrival, complete with homemade bread scones, and newly laid eggs, your stay at Church Farm will be a holiday to remember. The cottage is equipped to the very...

We stayed in the Ancestral Barn with some friends from America. Everyone was delighted with the accommodation and the attention to detail. I always think what would Alex Polizzi say about a place. Well, she would be impressed. Spotlessly clean and everything provided. I always take extra items when self-catering but I needed none of them here. As others have...

Had a great short-break in the cottage with my husband and sister-in-law and her partner. The cottage was beautifully presented and well equipped and the scones and eggs and freshly baked loaf were a delightful surprise on arrival. We had a lovely walk along Dovedale from the cottage and enjoyed sitting out in the garden in the evening sun, listening...
