After a disaster at camelot castle (checked out after an hour) we needed a place for the night. Thankfully The Wootons had a room. Nice and clean, staff friendly and a good breakfast too. Much better value for money than where we had originally booked

The beer was excellent, the pub interior was fresh from the 70s. I recommend visiting this pub on a sunny afternoon, when you can collapse in the beer garden after climbing the hill from the castle, and enjoy the view.

Very nice hotel with good facilities (full size snooker room being one of them) whose ground floor bar morphs into a local pub in the evenings and has a lovely and welcoming atmosphere (nice and quiet in the rooms above though). 1st class breakfast and the daytime/evening menu is very good as well. The Sunday carvery is top notch with...

There is a very special person working at The Wootons in Tintagel known as Rocky who delivered the most fantastic customer service and made our visit complete. Nothing was too much trouble and his experience and professionalism was perfect. We were a family of 4 adults, 2 dogs and an 11 month old baby and we booked a last minute...

Had a great time staff went that extra mile. Hotel and rooms are a bit dated but very clean, had a great few nights in bar with the locals. Great location for Tintagel Castle. Rooms clean warm and well presented. Stunning part of the world.

Lovely, friendly staff and a superb breakfast ! I stupidly left clothing in the wardrobe, phoned through and spoke to Felicity who true to her word sent them in the next post. We had originally booked for Camelot Castle Hotel but left when we saw the state of the rooms and rude staff. We booked into The Wootons Hotel and...

We stayed recently at Wootons in Tintagel. It's conveniently placed in the town with it's own parking. It's a fairly typical English hotel - flock wallpaper and dark furniture downstairs. Although the hotel is a little tired looking our room was comfortable as was our bed and there was plenty of hot water in the bathroom. The rooms had the...
