I knew, when I booked It, that the site was remote and had no facilities, but it's amazing how much you miss a shop or playground when there isn't one around.

Booked a "premium" lodge through Hoseasons. Was clear on arrival that the lodge although nice was not premium. Upon arrival we were greeted by a friendly young man who was most welcoming. The lodge itself was nice, not overly clean as there was some light...More

Hi Julie, Bossiney Bay is a very small (27 lodges) tranquil park, which is why my wife & I lare frequent visitors. There isn't any shop or entertainment on site but Tintagel is only a 15 minute level stroll away or 2 minutes by car. There are plenty of pubs, and independent cafes etc there and in the last 3 years we have tried each pub and always enjoyed our meals.

As frequent visitors to Bossiney Bay Holiday Park, we can confirm that there is a small laundrette in Tintagel. It is on the edge of town on the right hand side opposite the Tintagel Pet Food Store and the Methodist Church. It is about 15 minutes (level walk) from BB Holiday Park or about 2 minutes by car. You can park in the Visitors Centre car park (approx 100 metres on the left before you reach the laundrette).
We haven't used this laundrette ourselves because we always use the washing machine in the lodge that we stay in (No. 23 - 3 bedroom Country Lodge Six Platinum). If you are unsure if the lodge you have hired for your visit has a washing machine, you can either check on the Hoseason website where it should list what each lodge has or call the reception staff on Ocean Cove (01840 770325) The girls there are very helpful.
The lodges should be fully equipped with everything that you will need for your holiday, but again if you are unsure the girls will help you. The only personal items that we take with us are a hair drier (not supplied) and toiletries. Other than that we have never found that we needed to ask for anything.
We have previously left some information regarding local restaurants and beaches on the Questions and Answers Section on Trip Advisor website (TheTwoOfUsSuffolk / Steve D) which we also hope you find useful.
We hope, like us, you enjoy your holiday at Bossiney Bay Holiday Park.
