We had a one night stay prior to an event nearby. The recently refurbished room was to a very high standard and very comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were good and as we were fortunate with the weather it was a most enjoyable brief visit. All staff were friendly and welcoming on a very busy Sunday afternoon. The entrance...

Thank you 'theonerichardcarter' for your 5* review. All our rooms have had some refurbishment recently and the customer feedback has been fantastic. Our chefs work incredibly hard to get everything right and looks like they certainly did for your visit. I hope you can come back soon and experience it again. Regards, Mike. GM

Did not stay this time but will in the future. However I used the restaurant more than once and enjoyed a really well cooked pub meal every time from a comprehensive menu. Enjoy the fantastic and dramatic views of the coast and the spectacular 'Gull Rock', from the restaurant. The sunsets are memorable. The staff were friendly and efficient. Nothing...

I have been a regular visitor to the Port William for many years. Views from the bar or outside are just the best overlooking the sea and Gull Rock.Good varied menu with reasonably priced food. Served quickly. Great staff.

Wonderful lunch sitting outside admiring the beautiful views. Service and food was awesome. One of the ladies was extremely helpful and chatty knowing that we were not locals. Telling us lots of places to visit.

We are staying here with the family for the easter break ( out favourite beach ) and came for drinks and early dinner. Disappointing food again, but the views and lovely staff make up for it in a way. You cannot beat the view but wish we could say the same about the food. of course we will be back...

Staying at the Port William was lovely, from the friendly staff and the recently refurnished bedrooms, to the wonderful breakfasts. The hotel over looks the beach, and has out side eating area, as well as indoors, there are wonderful views were ever you sit. Our bedroom was so comfortable tea and coffee making facilities, bathroom has a bath with a...

Friendly, busy staff was the first impression. On a Sunday evening in March the place wasn't crowded, but doing a steady trade inside. (Must be a bit mad, in the nicest way, on a warm summer evening in August with all the lines of outside tables occupied as well - kitchen would going flat out to keep up) Good modern...

Been here many times in the summer for lunch overlooking the sea - this time stayed for the night in one of their recently decorated rooms. A big bonus for us is that dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms. Very helpful staff and food is what you would expect from a pub. Car parking is a bit awkward...

An average experience when went for a lunchtime meal. Not helped by waiting 15 minutes for a recycling van to move before I could enter pub car park, only then to be told by staff that parking was for residents only. You can turn around and drop people off, but if you are with someone who cannot walk far or...
