This is not just a hotel.....if you want modern five star amenities don't stay here. But, if you want a truly mystical and memorable experience, you'll find nowhere else on earth like it. We stayed here just for one night, a birthday treat organised by my husband as he knew I'd always wanted to visit Tintagel and see the remains...

We have stayed in several hotels this summer and expected this to be one of the best, however it was actually one of the worst. The room was nice but there was no curtain on one of the windows meaning your sleep was interrupted by daylight and the bathroom was a plastic cabin with a stained toilet seat. Good view...

Myself and my 11 year old daughter stayed here for 2 nights and were both captivated by the Camelot Castle. We arrived late at night but the welcome we received was very warm . The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff serving us very professional but at the end of the evening I took a moment to chat...

Just returned from an 11 day tour of the south west which included 2 nights at CC. Location is fantastic and from the outside the building certainly looks impressive. Owned (I think) by 2 guys who are very pleasant but strut around like peacocks morning and night, including the Bentley with personalised plate parked right outside the front entrance where...

First of all, let me start by pointing out the positive aspects of this hotel: 1) It is in an absolutely fabulous location, and the view of the ocean from the back is a sight I will never forget. It is breathtaking, and absolutely magical! 2) The food in the restaurant was quite good, with enough choice to satisfy almost...

The perfect place if you like castles! Tremendous location too, right at the coast and next to the Tintagel castle (ruin)! Not cheap, but we were lucky to get a room upgrade! :-) Maybe you try and ask as well.

I booked this hotel to celebrate my brothers birthday, purely because it was dog friendly. We were only staying one night as a stop over before we travelled back home, and to behonest we werent expecting much. We received a lovely welcome from the reception team before we were given a brief tour of the hotel. They were happy to...

At first glance this place seemed so wondrous, but once inside, one feels strange energies. They are trying to make it a five star hotel but it falls way short. Food tasted as if it were all packaged and prepared rather than freshly-cooked by a chef, they used paper napkins at every meal and all the art gave me the...

Oh where to begin .. Upon arrival receptionist couldn't speak English went off to find someone who could, it didn't bode well it took over 10 minutes to come, grudgingly apparently. Our room was beyond appalling the thick layer of dust on the desparately old and tatty furniture made me sneeze. The bath cupboard ( couldn't possibly call it a...

We are well travelled world wide and this is the worst place we have ever stayed. We do not normally write reviews but felt so strongly that we needed to share our experience. If your intension is to enjoy your well earned holiday please do NOT STAY HERE. The walls are adorned with fake photos of the owners and their...
