This hotel is positioned in the most stunning location overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It has a quirky interior and is dog friendly. If you ask for the right room you will also be treated to a view of Tintagel castle, and the twinkling lights of Godrevy Lighthouse far away in the evening. For dog lovers the location is perfect, well...

I have just returned from a 5 day break with my husband to this hotel. The hotel is in lovely surroundings. We had a room with a sea view which I thought was stunning especially sunrise and sunset. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful and very friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The surroundings are beautiful and overlook Tintagel Castle. It is also very close to Merlin Caves and Tingagel village, where there are lots of little shops, cafes and pubs. The hotel itself is strange and has a strange atmosphere. Upon entering, the reception area was littered with pictures of the owners posing with their dogs or celebrities. There is also...

We just had a few drinks in the bar but had a great time - staff very courteous - splendid period decor inside this grand Victorian hotel. Could have done with more Ales on tap but I suppose this is a hotel restaurant and looked to serve up a fine dining experience although we did not eat there. The bar...

We had booked for 3 nights over the Easter weekend at £130 per night and failed to check trip advisor...until one day before we were due to book in. Big mistake. Amazing building and views, but really disappointed with our room 104 as it had a kind of caravan type "pod" as a bathroom...totally not in keeping with the room,but...

This Easter we stayed in even a more lovely room than last Xmas. The 4 poster bed was so soft, the sea views amazing, beautifully clean - all as before. We are so in love with this magnificent building that we are booking again for Xmas & New Year. The staff are efficient and so obliging. Our little Tibetan Spaniel...

It's worth a visit to see the money lavishly spent restoring the hotel by the maplin family. Drive into the car park and there's an Aston Martin wrapped in floral design by the artist Tom Stourton with his artwork throughout the building. Pick up a copy of the camelot newspaper and it has a who's who of who has visited...

We wanted a dog holiday. The only good things I can say about our mini break is that the hotel is dog friendly and the staff were pleasant. It was also a reasonable priced break for 3 nights. However, our room was tiny and above the kitchen which meant it was so hot and we hardly got any sleep on...
