The hotel is situated in a nice location with partial views of the ocean and nice large garden. The wifi is terrible if that's important to you. The bathroom was rediculously small. Literally a toilet and shower and no mirror. There was a sink and mirror in the room. The finishing were tired and not near as charming as other...

a great stay, in a lovely room with amazing sea view. The owners and staff are so welcoming and friendly making our stay a real delight. The hotel is superbly situated to make the most of this area of Cornwall, and Mike and Mary share their love for the area with advice for visits. P.S. the food is wonderful.

We booked online for a one night stay, however received a call to say there had been a mistake and the room wasn't actually avaliable. I understand these things happen, however we were disappointed to be let down. Mike who called however had offered to cancel the double booking so we could stay however we had already found an alternative...

We stayed for one night after we visited Tintagel Castle. Breakfast was very good (buffet with English cooked breakfast and muesli, jam, fruits), room was spacious and clean. Absolute silence at night, perfect for a good sleep. You can reach Tintagel's town centre in a few minutes by car or in a reasonable time by foot. Would stay here again!

Very comfortable, family run hotel, very pleasant owners, helpful and accommodating, was a real pleasure to stay there, they have a large family dog which the children loved, rooms were clean and comfortable. Really helped us to enjoy staying an extra day in the area!!

Lovely hotel and large garden with sea views. Five minute walk to coastal path, excellent for dogs. Twenty minutes by car to Wadebridge to do the Camel Trail by bike to Padstow. Ten minute walk from the hotel into the village where there are a number of eateries. Although dog friendly this hotel is extremely clean and well presented. Breakfast...

The access to the coastal path is really just around the corner. Easy access to Rocky Valley and Tintagel castle. The town centre is a 10 minute walk with lots of restaurants and pubs. The free car park is convenient. The hotel is a bit outdated. The bathrooms are small. But good value for money. The Sunday carvery is tasty...

The staff and owners were friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The hotel was well situated for exploring the area, although it has seen better days and is in need of a refurb, it's a little tired looking. We had a room that sleeps 3, one double and a twin bed, it was a bit tight, but...

Having booked the day before, my wife and 20 year old daughter arrived to find two very large rooms. In fact, one of these rooms was a suite, absolutely perfect for a family of three. We passingly mentioned this. Ten minutes later we received a knock on the door with the suggestion that we all move into the one suite...
