I called in here to have a pint after walking around the castle on a wet afternoon & I was really impressed with the place. The staff were incredibly friendly so when I asked if they had any vacancies & they did I was really happy. The twin room was large, clean, comfortable & the breakfast was excellent...what else can...

I was here with my boyfriend. We had to wait one hour and at the end the food was terrible.I had a salat but for unknown reasons it came with PASTA inside. And even if this is considered acceptable, it was so overcooked to be uneatable (probably they boiled for all the hour I waited for it).The guests in the tables around...

We stopped here after a full day of sightseeing followed by climbing around Tintagel Castle. The service was good, the prices reasonable the food tasty and abundant. We met a couple from Philadelphia there and traded Americans in Tintagel stories.

You really couldn't be better situated in the heart of Tintagel. Accommodation was comfortable and catered for all of needs (family of 4). Excellent food in the evening and breakfast was satisfactory. The pub itself has a nice terrace and lovely garden with swings etc for younger children. Highly recommended!

Our room #11 -- is right off the patio, which was noisy when the weather was nice when bar-goers were sitting out having a pint or two. The room itself is right behind the bar -- so at the close of the bar we could...

Stayed, ate and drank here for 2 nights. Nice, clean, well decorated rooms, good food on both nights plenty to choose from between the main menu and specials board. Looked after well by all staff, everyone made you feel welcome. Would go back if we stay in the same area again.

We stayed here last year and had a lovely stay. Our second visit I'm pleased to say was as good as the first. The room was comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was okay, very relaxed. However if want a cooked breakfast you have to wait until 9am and the food can be a little slow to arrive. That said it...

We where down here on a business trip, we only had drinks here but noticed that the food was very popular with both families and couples. We thought the the staff where both friendly and helpful. The place had a great atmosphere. Enjoy we certainly did

Asked a local where to eat as staying one night in Tintagel, this was recommended! Saw a previous comment about unfriendly staff, surprised at this as we had a lovely friendly smile as we walked in! Good wine at reasonable price. My husband had gammon which was large I had peppered steak. Quite good food but not sure I had...
