Just come back from spending 5 nights at Headland House. What a fantastic location, just above a beautiful sandy beach with cafe and toilet facilities. The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the sandy beach (which is not too busy either) and also close proximity of the train station with 4 minute train tip in to St Ives....

We enjoyed our stay so much in July 2015, we rebooked again this year. And this visit was just as perfect as the first one. We love the location of Headland House - above Carbis Bay with a deck and furniture to sit outside - a short walk to the train station and train link to St Ives (or you...

What a great hotel, and very deserving of its high ratings. The attention to detail in the room was excellent. Comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, fresh milk, hot chocolate and cakes. The bathroom and bathtub worked perfectly. Honour bar (but the sherry was complimentary) and excellent breakfast choices. The hotel also provides things you need for a British seaside...

I have just returned home from an impeccable stay at this beautiful B&B and I can honestly not fault it. We arrived at 4pm (check in is at 3.30pm) prior to our arrival we were able to leave our car on the car park available. We were warmly greeted by one of the owners, Fenella. The room we stayed in...

Headland house was a great find down near Carbis Bay. Mark and Fenella were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The decor was neutral and the conservatory and sundeck area were lovely havens at the beginning and end of the day. The breakfast selection was vast and any of the cooked options would have kept you going for...

This isn't your average b&b .. the rooms and grounds are beautiful lots of attention to detail. The owners, Mark and Fenella, are so welcoming. The location is ideal, a train for £1 per person each way into st Ives is nearby (only one stop away from st Ives) if not its a beautiful 30 min walk along the coastline....

Recently stayed at this b&b June 14 2016 - June 17. Myself and my mum stayed to celebrate the end of my time at university. The stay was absolutely perfect from start to finish. We arrived in at the hotel early prior to check-in time after a fairly long journey and were welcomed by Fenella who was extremely friendly and...

Headland House is in Carbis Bay which is just outside the St Ives city centre. It's actually a lovely location because you can take a stunning 30-35 min stroll into town (there is a footpath) - you walk through a forest and it's just magical. There is also an hourly train if you don't fancy a walk. The rooms are...

Everything positive you read about Headland House is 100% true. We were meeting friends in St Ives for the weekend over the May Bank Holiday and chose to stay here at Carbis Bay rather than stay in the centre of St Ives, and what a good choice it was. We stayed in Mousehole which they class as their smallest room...

I stayed at Headland House for two nights with friends for a walking weekend to celebrate a 50th. I selected it on the basis of outstanding reviews on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived early from the sleeper train from London (highly recommend), we were made to feel so welcome. The hotel is a...
