We stayed at this lovely guest house for three nights in August, and had the most brilliant stay. The Old Count House was a perfect base from which to explore the beautiful town of St. Ives and the surrounding area. We had no problems whatsoever in finding the place, and were impressed to be able to park right outside. We...

We had a truly delightful week's stay in the self catering studio apartment next door, let by Ken & Cheryl the owners of The Old Count House. The apartment had everything we needed but equally we felt if we had required anything else it would have been no trouble to our pleasant and friendly hosts. St Ives and West Cornwall...

Our stay at the old Count house was a surprise from Family and friends and arranged by our teenage daughter. Cheryl, the owner, couldn't have been more helpful from the start. On our arrival we were welcomed at the door before we'd even rung the bell. We loved the olde worlde quaities of the Old Count House, and although our...

My partner and I have stayed at the bed and breakfast for two consecutive years. We came back to the Old Count House as we found it to be a lovely warm and welcoming place to stay. The building itself has a lot of history, the rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable with picturesque views of St Ives and...

Have recently returned from a trip to the UK and other european countries. Part of the trip was to get "reacharged" for the next 12 months of hectic city life and boy.....did just well. I went for a week to a beautiful coastal town in Cornwell, St Ives and stayed in The Old Count House B&B which I booked on...

We had booked a room 'with stylish four-poster' so were mildly surprised that washing facilities were in the bedroom itself, rather than within the bathroom. I have never known a bathroom not to contain a single mirror, but this was no problem with several in the bedroom, along with lots of bits of clutter, seemingly accumulated over many years. Breakfasts...

Lovely hotel with a great history, good food, exceptionally clean and very comfortable, sea views are stunning especially at sunset. Only a four minute walk to the centre of St. Ives, which is a wonderful place for a holiday. There is parking at the hotel, but if you are not in a car there is plenty of public transport and...

The Old Count House is a beautiful and homely old building with an interesting history. You could not get a warmer welcome from the friendly owners, Cheryl and Ken, who looked after us really well, nothing was too much trouble for them. I loved staying in The Count House (which was comfortable, spotlessly clean and with a wide choice of...

Having discovered The Old Count House in St Ives last year, I didn't hesitate to arrange for a friend and I to stay there again this year. The house itself is delighful and has its own history in the tin-mining industry of the region. All the bedrooms are very comfortable and clean and well-maintained. The breakfast room has character and...

We chosse this B&B from their website information and we were not disappointed. Lovely old house with an interesting history. We had a great view of St Ives harbour from our room. The breakfasts were good home cooking and plentiful, room was clean and comfortable. We intend to go back to St Ives and will stay with Cheryl & Ken...
