The matress in a 6bedroom was awful: the metal parts were poking right into hip and shoulder. Kitchen and eating room very remote, you reach it through a labyrinth. Carparking costs you 7,50 £ per 24 hours. Rest OK. Cosy lounge, nice staff, good beer.

Thanks for taking the time to write us a review and we're sorry you had a bad experience in Room 11. Those mattresses are in the process of being replaced so it won't be an issue in the future. For future guests' reference the kitchen is right by the private courtyard and dining room and only takes a minute or...

PROPERTY’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

Excellent value for money. Staff are amazingly friendly and the whole hostel is extremely well run. Free tea and coffee before 10. The rooms are spotless. I am a big chap and the beds, showers and toilets were just big enough to be on the edge of comfort which considering the price is outstanding. Great low cost solution in the...

Stayed for a couple of nights in a female only dorm and I was pleasantly surprised to sleep quite well (as a first time hostel guest!!) I really appreciated the curtain, individual light in your bunk and phone charging point. Also nice locker underneath bed fitted my medium suitcase and a couple of small bags really well (bring or hire/buy...

The Cohort is ideally positioned in the centre of the town. The old building has been superbly refurbished, although the quirky layout took a bit of learning. I paid the extra for sole occupation of a two bunk room. It was inside the building with no external window, but a quiet electric fan kept it comfortable.

We stayed for two nights in one of the dorm rooms for New Year's Eve. The hostel was fantastic and modern. We were in one of the old rooms that hadn't been refurbished yet but it was still clean and comfortable. The owners Leigh (sorry if I've spelled that wrong) and Dan we're so lovely and helpful. They've really thought...

Comfortable beds with good under bed storage (locked). I found the rooms and bathrooms pretty clean for how busy it was. So close to the beaches at a great price made this a perfect alternative to the expensive hotels on St. Ives. Only draw back is that it was really loud outside of the hostel on the weekend and because...

Thanks for taking the time to write a review and we're pleased that we could provide a good budget alternative to the other options in the area. Yes, it can be rather noisy at the front of the hostel, especially on a Saturday night, however we are currently renovating the rooms at the back (ready for March 2017) which we...

The staff were really friendly and helpful as to places to visit as well as activities to engage in around St Ives. There is a nice cozy common room with a TV. Also the hostel is nicely decorated with bright colours.

Great location in the heart of beautiful Sty Ives. Travelling solo and the staff and guests were incredibly friendly. Gave loads of great tips re where to go and things to see. The facilities were first class, very clean and comfortable with everything you need! Best accommodation I stayed in during a tour of the Cornwall coast. Thanks guys :)
