This was our first stay in Countryman Hotel and both me and my wife are absolutly amazed with this place! The atmosphere that Sylvia and Rob creates is truly welcoming. Rooms are spacious and equiped with everything you need. Remember to try the Cream Tea - Rob makes the scones himslef and they taste delicieous.

Fantastic hospitality, a spacious, comfortable and clean room (No 3) a breakfast to set you up for the day, relaxing in the lounge with a real log burner was a treat and no shortage of conversation from Rob and Sylvia. Whilst off the beaten track ideally located for visiting St Ives, Carbis Bay, Hayle and Penzance. We really enjoyed our... More

Have passed by lots of times, as our son lives locally and finally last week we had the time to pop in for a drink. We found that the hosts were both very friendly and chatty. We look forward to returning especially when I Elvis is in the building!

We were pleasantly surprised, our room No.2 was large enough to accommodate a travel cot and had a brilliant hot double shower, which the little one came to love too.... More

Could have done with a bath mat and more rails/pegs to put used towels on. Compared no doubt to some B&B's in St Ives, this room is huge and... More
