My sister and I enjoyed 4 nights at the Slipway.
We have no complaints what so ever. It is an attractive, quaint and historic building immediately on the harbour in fact on the Slipway.
Everything is spotlessly clean. Our little suite had everything we needed and more.

Can a car park ticket to last the 4 night stay be purchased?
HI Paul best to use the new road carpark. you can register your car with Cornish Council Parking and then you can pay any lenght of time up to 7 days on the app. or ring the number on the payment box and you can do it over the phone i think rates are £2.90 per 24 hours in winter summer is £5 per 24 hours hope this helps

is there parking available at the hotel or near??
every answer has given you a pretty good idea. the only thing they have missed is that if you prebook, i can assist with the hills and luggage. i can collect you and drop you back to your car as well as do sight seeing tours if wanted. call The Slipway direct and we can assist. cheers phil Owner The Slipway ( since july 18 2016)

We are big fans of the Doc. and are thinking of a visit in mid May 2017. From my limited research it seems as though the Slipway is right in Port Isaac or just steps from center of town. We plan on training from London's Paddington station to Bodmin Parkway and then catching a taxi to go the added 18 miles to Port Isaac. Can anyone suggest an honest and reliable taxi service from Bodmin Parkway. I understand taxi should run about 35 GBP. Is that about right? Any suggestions for a tour company from Port Isaac for vising Cornwall area after spending 2-3 days in Port Isaac?
The Slipway is indeed the very centre of the historic port. you can pre-book a taxi from Bodmin Parkway or The Slipway will organise a transfer for you. As far as day trips, there are a few local companies or ask at reception. Day trips / drops off for for coast walkers are on offer and can be planned on arrival or prior. They can help with an afternoons surfing at Polzeath, an afternoon tea on a picturesque beach, a day down to the seal santuary or further to lands end. The B&B is being renovated at the moment. for up to date photos, its best to contact The Slipway directly.
