We stayed here for 2 nights, visiting from Southport for a funeral. Anne was a delightful host and very attentive, she even let us check in early due to the circumstances. The whole place was spotless, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. 5 minute walk in to town centre. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary in the UK. We visited London, Scotland, and finished up in Cornwall. My grandmother was born in Cornwall in 1875 and this was our first trip to Cornwall and we were really looking forward to it. We selected the Penrose Guest House because of it's walking distance from the...

We had a lovely stay here. The location is excellent. A couple of minutes walk from Penzance town centre and also from the train and bus station. On a nice quiet street. Easy to get to Land's end on the bus and a 15 min drive from the lovely St. Ives. The room was comfortable, clean, with good wardrobe space...

I stayed here with my son and his partner for two nights in July. The other reviews say it all. The rooms were spotless, the breakfasts were excellent and Anne was very attentive and provided us with plenty of useful information about the area and suggested places to visit. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.

Very clean and comfortable guest house which is run very well by Anne. We were made very welcome and served a very filling breakfast. The room was comfortable and the en suite was well up to standard.A very good idea was to be able to order breakfast the evening before so that it is ready at the required time in...

Run by Anne and Marc, a very kind and conscientious couple, this guest house, centrally located, provided myself, wife and brother-in-law with two very comfortable nights and three first class breakfasts. We loved our well appointed rooms and appreciated the early breakfast to enable us to get our car to a long stay car park prior to boarding the Scillonian...

We arrived at Penzance late in the afternoon. The tourist office had already closed for the day, so I looked up Tripadvisor and found Penrose Guest House. A phone cal to the owner found us a room and we were on our way. We really liked the look of Penrose...in a quiet residential street and beautifully presented. It turned out...

We stayed there two weeks ago for six nights. It is very clean and comfortable with excellent cooked breakfast. It is very close to the railway station and for people like me who pack lightly, there is a laundry close by. There are only two or three rooms available, so book ahead!

The Penrose Guest House is perfectly located if you want to explore Cornwall by bus. On average it takes about an hour to get anywhere, but the links are there to visit Lands End, St Ives, the Minack, St Michaels Mount, Geevor Tin Mine; plus Eden is only an hour away on the train. We visited them all. The guest...
