My parents have literally just got home from a brilliant stay at your hotel with their bakers dolphin gold coach break. Cannot stop raving about how much they enjoyed themselves. All the staff were fantastic especially gemma, sam and Selwyn (hope I've spelt your name right). They

We're really glad they had a memorable stay and that they found the hotel staff so welcoming - it's something we take great pride in and we will certainly pass on the kind words to Gemma, Sam and Selwyn. Thank you once again and we'd love to welcome them back soon. Best wishes, The Queens Hotel Penzance

Such a shame that they seem to be scrimping terribly on staff these days. Nobody to 'hold the fort' at the bar. Reception told me there was a bell I could ring if I wanted service...but no bell to be seen! Eventually a very young and inexperienced girl came out who clearly had no

Queens hotel is an old building with many ancient accessories, creak floorboards, long/tall windows that are drafty and permanently closed, old creaky radiators and very large rooms. The dining room was set up for over 160 people and aonly half full, the staff were pushed hard to

I arrived on my bike, wet from the rain, and within 10 minutes found myself in a cosy room with a fabulous view of the sea, so I could get dry and have a cup of tea in total comfort. Bed was also comfortable, and it was an easy walk to a variety of restaurants later on. Decent br

What times do you serve breakfast here during the week?
Long question: is this hotel close to a tourist information center? Is it located near to city center? Also is it close to walking paths along the coast? I plan on coming in either November this year or early Spring of next year and want to take advantage of the beautiful coastline. Any information or advice is greatly appreciated!
Hi Bankslover, We’re a short walk (5-10 minutes down the road) from Penzance town centre and the Tourist Information office is at the other side of town (another 5-10 minutes) beside the bus and train stations. Literally right outside the hotel is Penzance Promenade, which if you follow in an Easterly direction takes you on the coastal path over to Marazion (and St Michael’s Mount) and to the West are the beautiful fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole. We recently put up a post on our blog about coastal walks near the hotel so this may be of interest. I hope this helps and if you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Hi. We want to stay the night of Friday 18th May 2018 and again the night of Saturday 26th May because we are crossing over to the Isles of Scilly for a week. Can we 1) leave our car with you while on Scilly 2) walk to the ferry from your hotel Jan Mulrenan
The car park is really small and the ferry is about 15 walk.
