This is a traditional village pub doing the usual pub fayre. The food was well prepared and presented. Dogs are allowed in the bar and are made to feel welcome. The service was friendly and the locals we were chatting too added to the friendliness.

When we arrived here the owner immediately advised that, following some very heavy rain, the room we were booked in to was suffering from a bit of damp. She advised that they had installed a dehumidifier which should help but it really was up to us if we stayed. And you can't say fairer than that. The room (No 1),...

"The Kings Arms" is a lovely, charming Hotel in Paul, just above of Mousehole. If you want to visit Mousehole, just go down the street, and you will get there. We stayed for two nights and visited Land´s End and St. Michaels Mount the other day. On both days we had dinner at the Inn, which offers a nice variety...

I booked this very early in advance as we were travelling from Bristol for a showing at the Minack Theatre. At £90 per night I guess I was expecting a little more than we got. The room was quirkily lopsided and quaint, which was fine, but the bed was ridiculously old and uncomfortable and held in place underneath with a...

The rooms are on the small side, but are clean and well appointed. The small en-suite bathroom could use a little updating, but was clean and functional. I was initially concerned about noise coming up from the busy bar. However, the patrons were well behaved and the room was very quite (except for the bell ringers that were practicing at...

We were staying in Mousehole and after looking on TA decided to have our last dinner of the week here as the reviews were very good to excellent. We booked ahead and looked forward to ending a lovely week with a hearty meal. The table was ready when we arrived and sticky, oh dear always a bad sign in my...

The restaurant hit all of the "spots." Very good food. The Steak and Ale pie was a real hit. Staff. Friendly, helpful and responsive. Atmosphere. Made us feel at home, and comfortable. Our next table mate was a great conversationalist and gave us local history. Loaded with history. Visit the Paul Church across the street. All in all an excellent...

We visited the Kings Arms after walking uphill for a good mile. So we were hoping for a greeting with a smile and some well earned food! We got neither. Approaching the bar we were greeted by a surly young fellow who pointed to the other room and said "children in the other bar". Entering the assigned room for families...
