I stayed with a friend for three nights in Penzance and we ate here every night as the service and the food was so good. The staff are obviously well trained and took our order within minutes of arrival. Despite being busy we were served very promptly. the food was excellent too. Highly recommended!!

Delicious morning and evening meal menu-best full English breakfast n cooked to order egg on toast ever!! A comfortable room with excellent shower room, plus a stunning view of Mount's Bay. Complete with faultless customer service. A must for those who love the cornish coast and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and close public transport links. Thanks for making our honeymoon... More

After a long drive we were glad to arrive at the Dolphin. We were given a warm welcome and helped with our luggage to our room. Room 2 overlooks the front of the pub and is over the bar but don't let that put you off. A very large room with full size bathroom. The proprietor had kindly reserved us... More

It is a traditional british pub, full in the evenings, but really heart warming and lovely service. We had a rest after a long trip from St Mary's and had a dinner. Would reccommend for a hot drink too!

We had been recommended by my cousin that the sea food was very good here. She was right. My wife had the prawn and crab linguine and I had the haddock and plaice duo. Both were quickly served and were delicious. And the St Austell beer was the perfect accompaniment. Here's the but. When we entered the bar we stood... More

We arrived on Monday just after 5pm and we were greeted by the landlord Richard who was really friendly and welcoming. We ate there that night and I had the squid which was on the specials and it was amazing!! The best I've ever tasted! My partner had the sizzling steak which was also Devine! We had room 2 which... We ate here every night for a week whilst staying in Penzance, and couldn't fault either the food or the service. Would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone. Will definitely be returning whenever we are in the area.

Had a very nice room, but right next to the road so pretty noisy at times. All of the staff very friendly and accommodating. Had a few drinks in the bar after an evening out and found the cocktails blew our socks off, try them if you dare! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice offered. Would stay again.
