I have mixed feelings about this hotel, and I have stayed there approx five times now.

GOOD THINGS: The location. If you book a sea view room, the view is lovely. Breakfast is also good, can't fault the veggie breakfast. Check in is always easy and staff area always friendly.

My Husband and myself stayed at this hotel for 4 nights from 27/08/18 whilst on a mini break in Newquay. It was in a fantastic position, only 2 min walk down to the lovely Fristral beach, also 5 mins walk to the town. And it had exceptional sea views from the bar terrace and the

We have just spent a weekend at the Carnmarth Hotel for a wedding. Excellent venue, lovely hard working friendly staff, great food & fantastic views. Beautiful place to stay.
We were in room 27, great view from the balcony. Only a short walk down to the beach.

The welcome and the food was good, but the room itself is very basic, and the bathroom was dirty. The shower basin was decorated with all types of hair, topped with a bright red fake fingernail underneath the sink. After getting over the initial gag and getting out of the shower,

Hi, I have a weekend car that I've spent a lot of time on, point being, if I cannot park onsite what other option are there and do they cost and are they safe from vandals? Thanks
Hi Simon If it were me with my pride and joy weekend car, then i would certainly not take it to the rear car park, the approach to it is through a council controlled car park and is in appalling condition, with loads of pits etc, try and park in the front of the hotel. The spaces on the side of the hotel are quite tight and small and on a slope, so it could easily get a knock from inconsiderate person allowing their door to knock your vehicle.

It says you are pet friendly but do you allow them to stay in the rooms?
Hi there, We do allow them to stay in rooms at a charge of £5 per night cleaning. Some small rules: Dogs aren't to be left unattended in rooms The breakfast room is to be kept pet free, we offer alternative breakfast arrangements in our bar for customers with pets. Hope this helps Kelly
