Beresford hotel, nice and clean and in a great position. The food is a bit better than normal Shearings Hotels, we have just spent eight days there and th a staff are very good especially Caroline on reception and Josh our waiter for the week....More
We stayed here for 4 days and everything was spotless and clean.All the staff was friendly apart from one of the barmen which it was a bit to much trouble but the reception was excellent and the food and entertainment was good.

From the Beresford Hotel it's about a five minute walk away, on the same side of the road, and there is a slight uphill gradient that you should have no problem with unless you're not too good on your legs.
