Stayed last week with Alfa. Comfortable and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice at meal times and meals tasty, well presented and more than sufficient. Two things that need improvement. Terrible tea and coffee! and very poor reception on TV in bedroom. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Stayed here last week as part of an Alfa tour to Newquay and the Eden Project, first impressions were very good, the hotel seems fairly modern compared with some of the other hotels I have stayed in with Alfa. The reception areas are warm and inviting. The rooms are very clean and the shower hot. The food was typical leisureplex...

Stayed here in October, journey down was a nightmare, coach broke down, stuck at services for 4 hours, Alfa would not send another coach, they took our money for the holiday, and were not bothered about the situation we were in, finally arrived at hotel at 10.15pm, to which we missed the evening meal and had to have sandwiches(I don't...

I stayed here from Monday night to Friday morning. The hotel was included in a coach holiday. The journey down was horrible, due to an unforeseen breakdown. We arrived 3/4 hours late. The hotel provided us with a later supper, which was gratefully received. They also provided a midday meal on the following day. The staff were friendly and very...

Excellent food and portions - I had a gastric bypass a few years ago so I asked for small portions - they were no different than anyone else's - BIG! The manager was very helpful and the waiting staff were fantastic. I thought that the décor was getting a little dated but everything was nice and clean. The bar prices...

We bought a 6 night stay through a groupon voucher for me, my girlfriend and our baby daughter for the first week of the summer holidays; the hotel has a small amount of free parking which is good, it's just off the main road that leads straight into the centre of town and beaches (only a few minutes walk), the...

Had a lovely holiday! The room was spacious and kept spotless during my stay. Food was ok but could have been hotter on occasion. Choice was good, same menu as all Alfa hotels. Would like a regional choice as dish of the day? Trips out were fine and there is plenty to do in Newquay for any free time. Hotel...
