Receptionist was very friendly and helpful, we were given a free upgrade, I dread to think what the original room was like. When we opened the door we both wondered if a cat had peed in the room! Once we opened the windows the smell eventually went. Room looked circa 1950's......apart from the bathroom which had obviously been updated to...

As it coincided with the gig racing championships we felt lucky to get a room and were not expecting overmuch for the price. What a lovely surprise we had. A superb room overlooking the sea, reserved...

We chose a sea view premium room (I think) and it is really worth it, fantastic views and a spacious modern room. Unless you eat all your calories in the morning, don't buy breakfast in advance as it is cheaper buy items individually when ordering down in the bar / restaurant
