My daughter and son-in-law gave us a long weekend in this hotel as a Christmas present, I was very surprised how nice the hotel was as Newquay has such a bad reputation, the hotel staff are so friendly from the bottom to the top, the reception staff were exceptional whatever time of the day you came in, yes the building...

Thank you for taking the time to review the hotel and your stay with us. I hope you found Newquay did not live up to its sometimes negative reputation. The town has been working hard in recent years to attract families and couples, and the party image is now thankfully diminishing. Breaks here at Great Western are lovely whatever time...

Lovely hotel, Visited August 2015. Beds made every day, extremely friendly staff and absolutely beautiful views! The hotel's food was excellent and was busy every night! It is in an extremely convenient location, meters away from the train station, perfect as neither my partner or I could drive and a few minutes walk from the beach and town centre. Even...

I am pleased you enjoyed your stay with us. Our location on the edge of the busiest part of Newquay gives the best of both worlds – close enough to everything you want to visit, without need of a car, but quiet enough for a relaxing stay. During August the hotel is fully booked most nights, and although our public...

This is the second time we have stayed here and i can't fault it. The room was spotless, brand new bathroom and although it was a standard room we could see the sea from the window. All the staff are lovely and friendly and very professional. Right next door is probably the nicest pub in the town as well which...

Booked this hotel for a long weekend stay in January. It was great, had everything you needed and close proximity to Newquay town centre. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and our sea view was stunning. Facilities in the room were great, and it felt very spacious. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We love newquay and first time at this hotel, but definetly not the last,we were very impressed, staff all excellent, food top notch, and the hotel is clean, only criticism room was very cold as heating didn't appear to be working properly, but as we were only there for a couple of days wasn't really a problem.

This was our second time of staying and we have booked again. We had the 'Bridal Suite' this time because it was an anniversary. There are stunning views along the beach towards the harbour and along the coast in the other direction. Glimpsed Dolphins in the bay one morning even. We stayed for two weeks partially during the time of...

Room was nice (we had a "superior room"), very comfortable bed and a great seaview. Size of this superior room was also a plus, couch and small seating area in front of the window. We also pre ordered breakfast, but this was a bit common for the price we paid. Only options were a full English breakfast with toast, or...
