I visit Newquay regularly and wouldn't stay anywhere else! Reasonably priced with comfortable rooms and a more than decent bar area downstairs. MOR is in the perfect location, just a 5 minute walk into town for everything you need. A self catering kitchen area has recently been fitted which is an added bonus. The staff at the lodge couldn't be...

We went to Newquay for a company away weekend for 45 people. Rachel and the team could not have done more for us before during planning and while we were there. The hostel was great, great bar, games area, clean rooms, very small shower/wc area, great location, sorting great food and they booked lots of great activities for us with...

We stayed here for a hen party and found it was very well suited to our needs and excelled our expectations. I have a few negative comments but these are all very mild grievances that, for a hostel, I kind of expected anyway: It can get a little noisy at night, but nothing more than usual if you live in...

We came down as a group of 45. The staff were very welcoming and it was relatively stress-free getting the rooms sorted etc. The place is nice, colourful and engaging. The issue is the room. Some are fine, some are not. I was put into a room of 4.... -Was essentially no space for anybody to move as soon as...

We stayed for two nights. The owner was very helpful and efficient as was the Spanish receptionist. We just wanted somewhere to lay our heads and this is a great place to do so. Our double en suite room was basic but clean. Breakfast offered was cereal and toast which was fine. Our dog was welcome too which is very...

Perfect place for stag parties. Rooms are a little small, but the 5 of us in our room are pretty cosy with each other. Staff are all pretty friendly considering they have to listen to drunken ramblings most of the time. Breakfast is toast & cereal but this is a lodge not a Hilton. Basically, if you're going to Newquay...

Firstly I would like to thank all the staff at mor lodge especially the front of house manager Pat, he couldn't of been more welcoming. We were shown to our room to drop off our bags then we were shown around the lodge, which was friendly and very up to date. The whole experience was fantastic and me and my...

Mixed feelings about MOR; room was clean and bright although basic and possibly overpriced for facilities offered when compared with other places. Easy check out process and well situated within Newquay, walking distance to beaches and local bars and restaurants which was appreciated. Most staff members were friendly and accommodating except for one (dark hair, large guy- Pat?) who was...

Perfect for stag weekend. Stayed 3 nights. Check in and out quick and easy. Bar cheap. Has a pool table. Cheap. Pillows are really thin, I would suggest you take your own. Staff generally really helpful and friendly apart from one large bloke walking around with a face like a slapped behind and quite rude. He was at reception late...

Stayed for 4 nights with 3 friends on a surf trip. Ok first things first it's not 3* nor a surf lodge. On the positive side it's clean, tidy and well decorated, and at £20 per person night it's not expensive. However you only get a bed in your room no hanging space or drawers, and if you were if...
