Despite living in the southwest this was our first visit to Newquay to stay over and pick up friends from Newquay Airport. Oh what a disappointment. Good location despite immediate surroundings. The public areas tried so hard to live up to days gone by. This hotel has a huge amount of potential but is so badly let down by lack...

Having booked this hotel for a surprise for my partner and our son, I was hoping to have a very good experience. However it was a very different story! There where no balloons on arrival which is what I had requested when booking and the room was bitterly cold, not to mention the fact there was bird poo on the...

Came for 2 nights for a soul weekend. The location was superb with everything within just a few minutes walk. I was given a very small room at front with a street view initially but asked to be upgraded to a sea view which I did for an extra £35 and then was given a very nice large suite so...

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely hotel but rooms could do with a lick of paint and Staff were all friendly. Breakfast was nice with plenty of choice and the hotel has lovely views and lots of character. Also plenty to do in surrounding area. Would definitely stay here again

Really good choice at breakfast and lovely dining room with views of Newquay's beaches. The indoor pool was also really nice. We stayed...

Lovely visit , we took our two dogs . It was absolutely fantastic and value for money. Dogs were good as gold and made very welcome. Rooms were spacious if a little old fashion, at least in dog section. Some I understand were refurbed to a higher standard , the bathroom was spacious with a full sized bath (hooray) hate...

Lovely large family room with four beds. Plenty draws and cupboard space. Large bathroom. Toiletries all provided as well as tea coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was buffet with hot or cold to choose from as well cereals toast and pastries. Staff extremely friendly and offered suggestions on where to visit and routes to avoid traffic delays. Views of the beach...

I stayed here with my partner for his birthday and I upgraded the room to a sea view. The room was a good size, the bed was comfy and the view was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again, don't be put off by the negative reviews, I had a lovely time!

We stayed as a family of four with two young children departing today. We arrived early but parked easily and checked with reception that this was ok.. Reception were welcoming and charged us the expected £5 per day for parking - we had no problem with this as we left the car and walked everywhere. A delightful chap with a...
