Lovely 2 night stay,room with sea view was very clean & comfortable.en suite with lovely roomy shower.Helen,John & family were very welcoming & nothing was to much trouble whatever you asked for. Breakfast was very tasty & very filling..I can definitely recommend the vegetarian one.the family's dogs are so friendly and loved being fussed when they were around,it was nice...

We've just had our 7th NYE at Smuggler's and couldn't fault it! We had our little boy with us for the first time and John and Ellen bent over backwards to accommodate us! Thank you both! See you next year!

Came down with a few friends for a little break.. and to try out some surfing.. We couldn't have fealt anymore welcome.. they provided a beautiful room.. gigantic breakfast everyday.. which is incredibly tasty... they even sent my wetsuit back.. after I had forgotten it... Definitely will go stay again And would happily recommend to anyone visiting Newquay :)

I went to the Smugglers Rest for a Hen Weekend and could not have been made more welcome! Our landlady and landlord were ace and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are comfy, had a great sleep both nights, bathrooms are on the small side but are en suite and spotlessly clean. Love the super lamp above the mirror, perfect...

Jon and Ellen are lovely hosts , really kind and helpful , lovely big breakfast if your very hungry. Thanks agAin for your hospitality .Nice big airy room and large shower.Short walk to beach and shops and many restaurants .

Great place to stay great location and the best hosts you could wish for. Clean rooms lovely breakfast😃Big thank you to John and Ellen so friendly, helpful and genrally lovely people. Not to mention the 3 gorgeous dogs Dexter, Cooper and Olly 👍definitely recommend The Smugglers Rest

Can't explain enough how helpful, thoughtful and accommodating our hosts were. Not only is this place In a great location central to everywhere, we were so well looked after by our hosts they really do go above and beyond. Absolutely fab holiday accommodation once again with John & Ellen. John and Ellen are amazing, it was like staying at a friends house, comfortable in every way, good breakfast and they have 3 gorgeous dogs cooper, olly and Dexter who were just adorable!
