One night stop over in Newquay. Hotel was good value for money. Room was clean, comfy bed, and everything we needed. Sea view a bonus. There was entertainment at the hotel although not to our taste, a separate drinking area appreciated. There was two restaurants we choose Sixty which is very tastefully decorated a good choice of menu and a...

Returned for the third or fourth year in a row for a winter break. The very energetic and personable waiter/duty manager Paul has moved on elsewhere. For the first time on our visits there was no evening entertainment and the main restaurant was closed (with Christmas decorations still visible). The eatery , Sixty Bistro was ok but definitely not up...

We always listen carefully to feedback and place great value on your previous custom and glowing comments. In polite reply, it’s important to note that we only offered rooms on a bed & breakfast basis during the 1st week of January opening. This was clear at the time of booking with all guests - the reason being that our main...

To begin, I think we're probably the only people here who aren't on a coach tour. We're locals wanting a change of scene. Our room is fine - clean, sea view and has a little annexed room as I think it's usually used as a family room - would have brought the children if we'd known! We ended up watching...

The first thing to say is how pleasing to see how much investment has been made into the hotel. The restaurant has been upgraded to high degree and the addition of the bistro to the front of the hotel is teriffic. This is my 3rd Christmas and New Year at this hotel and the high standards are being maintained so...

We have just stayed at the Pentire for four nights on a bed, breakfast and evening meal basis. The staff were polite and respectful, the room was clean and tidy, the pool was wonderful but the best bit was the food. The 3 course evening meals were delicious as was the breakfasts. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff...

Lovely location on the outskirts on Newquay which can be reached via beautiful Fistral Beach which the hotel overlooks so great views from many of the rooms. We first visited this hotel in May 2016 on a very reasonably priced last minute booking. We then rebooked for a week's holiday in August. This hotel has great location and it's nice and spacious with plenty of areas to have a drink or chill out in. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The food is great if...

This was booked as a group and I trusted the judgement of the people we were going with but we have never stayed in a 3 star hotel so my expectations were actually better than I imagined! Manuel wasn't seen once and neither was any member of the Carry On Films so that was a big bonus! The room we...
